The Second World Cocoa Conference organised by the International Cocoa Organisation (ICCO) took place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 9-13 June 2014

It brings together key stakeholders from across the cocoa value chain from heads of state from leading cocoa producing countries, executives from major cocoa and chocolate companies to senior officials from processing, trade, banking and logistics. It will take stock of progress achieved since the recommendations issued in the Global Cocoa Agenda at the First World Cocoa Conference that took place in Abidjan in November 2012. CacaoNet and Bioversity International are invited to make a presentation on Thursday 12 June as part of the “Sustainable Cocoa Production” breakout session.
