Agricultural Engineer, National Agrarian Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva, Tingo María; with a Master`s Degree in Plant Pathology, Ph.D. in Sustainable Agriculture at the Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina, Lima, Peru. Specialized in tropical crops, Postgraduate degree in Senior Management and Management. With more than 30 years of experience in Agricultural Research and Extension, Technological Innovation and Technology Transfer for the cultivation of cocoa and other tropical crops, qualified as a CONCYTEC (REGINA) researcher with registration 6153. From 1993 to date, he has held the position of General Coordinator of the Institute of Tropical Crops (ICT) Tarapoto, San Martín, today classified as CITE Cacao and other Tropical Crops. Member of the Executive Committee of CITEproductiva Maynas, CITEagroindustrial Huallaga, CITEagroindustrial Oxapampa, CITEagroindustrial VRAEM, member of the IIAP Board in the year 2012 - 2015. President of the Peruvian Phytopathology Association (2002-04 / 2008-10); Principal Professor at the Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva, Visiting Professor at the La Molina National Agrarian University and Professor at the National University of San Martín. Research professor at the National Autonomous University of Alto Amazonas-UNAAA, Yurimaguas. It has several scientific publications, books and reports, in indexed and specialized magazines.
